Looking to Publish?

Timed especially for #PoEF15, a special ‘Emotions and Feelings’ edition of the Applied Psychological Research Journal (APRJ) is now open for submissions from presenters and attendees. In this collaborative venture by Coventry University and Northampton University, APRJ is looking to support the publishing of the quality research from the #PoEF15 conference and its attendees.

The APRJ is a free-to-publish, free-to-read online journal focusing on all aspects of psychology applied to real-world issues. All work is blind peer-reviewed, and any research with an applied focus, including replications, null results and any methodological or theoretical perspective, is welcomed. We especially encourage student submissions, and accept original research articles (<5000 quant; <7000 qual), literature reviews (<7000), short reports (<2500) and practice or impact notes (<3500; <4000).

This open-access journal is accepting papers for a special edition on emotions until around the 15th of June. You can gain further information, and submit your papers, online here:

If you would like to discuss any ideas, or have any questions, please do get in contact with the edition editor:

#PoEF15 Delegates, book your workshop space now!

From 3:30-4:30 we have four workshops for you to attend. Workshops are similar to talks, but more experiential.

Because of the numbers we have on the day, we have decided it would be easier for you to sign up to the workshop you wish to attend ahead of time.

The workshops have a maximum limit which is based on the room size, and so places are limited and awarded on a first come, first served basis.

Please click the link for the workshop you wish to attend to book your place as soon as possible so that you are not disappointed. The four workshops that are being offered are:

1.   Employability Workshop: 50 Spaces Available

2.   Embodiment of Emotion Workshop: 25 spaces available

4.   Compassion Workshop: 40 Spaces Available
